Catering Prices in Miami per Guest, With Every Fee Listed

A catering price in Miami is a per-guest rate, a service charge for staffed events and sales tax, and we show all three before you book. Our rates run from $15 per guest for office drop-off to $125 for a Platinum wedding, and a quote with your total arrives within 24 hours.

  • One rate per guest. The rate depends on the service: drop-off, full service with staff, a wedding package or a private chef. The table below lists every direction with its minimum.
  • A service charge with its purpose. Events with our staff on site carry a mandatory charge of 18% down to 10%, set by guest count. It covers staffing, setup and breakdown, and kitchen operations. It is not a tip.
  • Tax on its own line. Florida 6% plus county surtax 0.5% to 1.5%, depending on where your event takes place.
  • Tips are your choice. Gratuity is optional and never added automatically.
  • Delivery by address. It depends on your address and is shown in your quote.

Send your date, guest count and area, and the quote lists every charge on its own line, so you can compare it with any other quote.

How Your Catering Total Is Built

Your total is the per-guest price times your guests, plus the service charge for staffed events, plus sales tax, plus any extras you add. Gratuity is optional and is never added automatically. Follow the steps below with a quote in hand, and every line should match.

  1. Price per guest × guests. For 50 guests on the $45 tier: 50 × $45 = $2,250.

  3. Sales tax, on its own line. Florida 6% plus county surtax 0.5% to 1.5%, set by the county of your event.
  4. Extras. Extra service hours, staff beyond the usual ratio, bar service and rentals each get their own line.
  5. Delivery. Priced by your address and shown in your quote.

Catering Price Questions Before You Book

How much does catering cost per person in Miami?

Our rates run from $15 per guest for office drop-off and from $45 for full service with staff, up to $125 for a Platinum wedding. The service charge and sales tax come on top as separate lines. For a market-wide view, read our guide to what catering costs in Miami per person.

How much does catering cost for 50 guests?

On the $45 tier, 50 guests × $45 = $2,250, plus an 18% service charge and sales tax on its own line. Other tiers use the same math with their own rate. Send your date and area, and the quote shows the exact total within 24 hours.

How much does catering cost for 100 or 200 guests?

Each step of 100, 200 and 300+ guests takes $2 per guest off the rate. The service charge also steps down: 15% for 101 to 200 guests and 12% for 201 to 300. Your quote shows the rate, the charge and the tax for your guest count.

Is a catering service charge the same as a tip?

No. The service charge is mandatory for events with our staff and covers staffing, setup and breakdown, and kitchen operations. Gratuity is optional and never added automatically. See service charge vs gratuity in Florida for the full explanation.

Is sales tax included in your catering prices?

No. Tax is a separate line on your quote: Florida 6% plus county surtax 0.5% to 1.5%, set by the county where your event takes place. Your quote adds it after the food and service lines, so you see the total before any deposit.

What is the most affordable way to cater an event?

Our lowest rate is office drop-off from $15 per guest, with a 10-guest minimum and orders 24 hours ahead. Platters start at $65 per tray with 2 trays. Full service starts from $45 per guest at 25 guests.

What is the minimum order for catering?

Drop-off starts at 10 guests, platters at 2 trays, full service at 25 guests and weddings at 50 guests. Full-service events under 50 guests add $10 per guest. From Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, the minimum doubles.

Do you charge for a catering tasting?

A tasting is free for booked weddings and events of 100+ guests. Before booking, it is $100, credited to your order if you book within 14 days. See how a catering tasting works.
