Miami Plate Catering caters Brazilian-style rodizio menus across Miami-Dade County for groups of 25 guests or more. This menu sits in our middle tier, from $60 a guest, with our staff serving and four hours of service included. Churrasco catering suits birthdays, family celebrations and company events where one table should work for every guest.
The serving format is confirmed in your quote before you pay a deposit. Planning starts with five questions about the occasion, the guest count, the date, the area and your budget per guest, and a coordinator replies within an hour during business hours.
Booking terms
Catering Booking Terms Without Small Print
These are the terms we put in your contract, in plain words.
Deposit, price lock and payment
50% after you approve the menu and quote, or 30% when you book 6+ months ahead. Your contract price does not change before the event. Pay by card, Zelle, ACH, check or cash; 4% off without a card.
Guest count and final payment
Due 10 business days before the event, 48 hours for office and yacht orders. You can reduce the count by up to 10% of the contract.
Cancellation
7+ days before: event credit with no expiry or a refund minus 30%. Less than 7 days: no refund. Drop-off orders: full refund up to 24 hours before delivery. If we have to cancel, we refund your deposit within 10 days and, less than 30 days out, help find a replacement and pay the price difference.
Rain plan
It’s Florida. We bring a tent or switch to a covered format, quoted in advance.
Tasting
Free for booked weddings and events of 100+ guests. Before booking, a tasting is $100, credited to your order if you book within 14 days.
Brazilian-Style Menu Requests for a Churrasco Table
A rodizio menu is Brazilian-style meat with rice, farofa and salads on the side. The cards below list what you can ask for. The exact dishes, quantities and price per guest are confirmed in your quote before you pay a deposit. Share the ages at your table and any dishes your family expects, and your coordinator builds the list around them.
Meats
Picanha, chicken, sausage and pork can be requested. Tell your coordinator which ones you want.
Rice and Beans
White rice and black beans sit next to the meats on a Brazilian table. Ask for them with your order.
Farofa and Sides
Farofa, yuca and pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) round out the plate. Name the sides your guests will look for.
Salads and Sauces
Ask for salads, vinaigrette and chimichurri to go with the meats.
Vegan Plates
A fully vegan menu is available, and vegan dishes appear in our other menus. Tell your coordinator how many vegan guests are coming.
Kids at the Table
Children up to 3 years old eat free, and children from 4 to 12 are 50% of the price per guest.

Menu and count are due 10 business days before the event. After that the count can only go up.

We set up, serve and clean our area, and pack leftovers on request. Tell us within 24 hours if anything was not right and we make it right with a credit, remake or refund.
Rodizio Prices per Guest for 25, 40, 50 and 80 Guests
A rodizio menu in Miami starts at $60 a guest, and groups under 50 guests add $10 a guest. Prices are before the service charge and Miami-Dade's 7% sales tax. The table shows the food total for four group sizes, so you can plan before you ask for a quote.

For 50 guests the math reads 50 × $60 = $3,000, plus an 18% service charge of $540, plus tax. The service charge covers staff, setup and breakdown and kitchen operations, and it is not a tip. Tips are optional and never added automatically.
What else shapes the total:
- Service time.Four hours are included, and each extra hour is $5 a guest.
- Extra food.We plan 10% more food than your headcount at no extra charge.
- Rentals.Guest tables, chairs, linens and glassware are not part of the price per guest. If you need them, they appear as a separate rentals line.
- Delivery.It depends on your address and is shown in your quote.

What is the minimum order for a rodizio menu?
The minimum is 25 guests. Smaller groups can look at trays, which start at two trays, or at a private chef dinner from two guests.
How far ahead should I book a rodizio menu?
Book two to three weeks ahead for a private event, and send your date as soon as you have it. A full quote follows within 24 hours of your request.
What does a rodizio catering menu include?
The price per guest covers the menu, preparation, staff, buffet equipment, setup of the serving area and cleanup. You can ask for picanha, chicken, sausage, rice, black beans, farofa and salads, and the quote confirms the exact dishes.
What is the difference between rodizio and churrasco?
Rodizio is the Brazilian restaurant style of serving meat in rounds, and churrasco is Brazilian-style meat and the gathering around it. Our catering menus are priced per guest, and the serving format is confirmed in your quote.
