Four Ways to Cater a Party at Your Delray Beach Home

Delray catering comes in four formats, and each one has its own price per guest. Pick the one that matches your table, and your quote shows the menu, the team and every charge before you pay a deposit.

Garden and Pool Parties, From $45 a Guest

Barbecue, grill, paella, Caribbean, Greek, vegan or party menus start here, with the full-service team and a 25-guest minimum. Under 50 guests, full service adds $10 a guest.

Dinner Parties With a Private Chef, $100–300+ a Guest

A chef cooks in your kitchen for 2 guests or more. From 12 guests an assistant joins, and from 20 guests we add servers. Caviar and wagyu cost extra.

Cocktail Receptions and Steak or Seafood Dinners, From $78 a Guest

The premium tier covers steaks, seafood and cocktail receptions, with the same four hours of service as every other tier.

Trays for a Smaller Gathering, $65–95 a Tray

Order at least two trays and set the table yourself. Delivery depends on your address and is shown in your quote.

Parties bigger than the table? See event catering in Miami and wedding catering for larger formats.

How a Delray Catering Quote Adds Up, Line by Line

A Delray catering quote has four lines that add up to your total: the food at a price per guest, a service charge, sales tax and an optional tip. Here is the order they come in, using 50 guests at the base tier.

  1. Food. 50 guests × $45 = $2,250. Under 50 guests, full service adds $10 a guest.
  2. Service charge. 18% up to 100 guests, 15% for 101 to 200, 12% for 201 to 300 and 10% above 300. It is mandatory for events with staff, it covers staff, setup, breakdown and kitchen operations, and it is not a tip.
  3. Sales tax. Palm Beach County's rate is 6.5%: Florida's 6% plus the county's 0.5%. It sits on its own line.
  4. Tip. Optional, and never added automatically.

Your coordinator lists each of these lines separately. Four hours of service are included, and each extra hour is $5 a guest. We also add 10% extra food beyond the number you give us. The menu and the quote are approved first. The deposit, 50% or 30% when you book 6 or more months ahead, comes only after that, and the final guest count is confirmed after it.

Experience

Who Cooks and Serves Your Event

Our own team cooks and serves your event. We staff it by guest count, with about one team member for every 25 guests. The roles are a chef, an event coordinator, cooks and servers. The company has 10+ years in catering.

How we cook

  • In our kitchen. We prepare the food in our licensed commercial kitchen in Aventura and deliver it in our own vehicles, from office lunches to yacht platters.
  • On site. For grill and paella menus we finish the food at your venue using our own professional equipment.
  • In your kitchen. For a private chef dinner, your chef cooks and serves in your kitchen, and groceries are included in the price.
