Graduation Party Catering Prices and How to Set Your Budget

Graduation party catering starts at $45 per guest with a minimum of 25 guests. Your budget is the guest count times the price per guest, plus a service charge and sales tax. Your quote lists each line before you pay a deposit, so you know the full total before the party is booked.

Build your budget in four lines:

  1. 1
Food. Guests × price per guest, from $45. Events up to 50 guests add $10 per guest, and larger ones get $2 off per guest at each step of 100, 200 and 300+ guests.
  2. 2
Service charge. A percentage of the food total, shown in the table below. It covers staffing, setup and breakdown, and kitchen operations, and it is not a tip.
  3. 3
Sales tax. Florida's 6% plus your county surtax of 0.5% to 1.5%, on its own line.
  4. 4
Extras. Each extra hour of service is $5 per guest. Delivery is shown in your quote. A tip is optional and never added automatically.

Plan Your Graduation Party Around One of Four Setups

Where the party happens decides what your coordinator needs from you. Pick the setup closest to yours, and tell us the details when you send your request. The coordinator goes over the menu, the timing and the layout with you by phone before you pay a deposit.

Hosting a different celebration? See party catering in Miami. Private events usually book 2 to 3 weeks ahead, so send your date first.

A backyard party at home

Tell us where the food can be set up, how many tables you have and where guests will sit. Your coordinator plans the serving area with you. If it rains, we bring a tent or switch to a covered format, and the tent is quoted in advance.

An open house through the afternoon

Guests who arrive at different times need a longer service window. Four hours are included and each extra hour is $5 per guest, so give the start and end times and the coordinator builds the schedule around them.

A hall or a venue

Send the venue name and the address. Some venues have rules for outside caterers or limits on access, and it is easier to plan around them from the start.

Diets and dessert

Mention diets and allergies when you send your request. We have a fully vegan menu, see vegan catering in Miami, and a separate page for dessert catering.

Experience

Who Cooks and Serves Your Event

Our own team cooks and serves your event. We staff it by guest count, with about one team member for every 25 guests. The roles are a chef, an event coordinator, cooks and servers. The company has 10+ years in catering.

How we cook

  • In our kitchen. We prepare the food in our licensed commercial kitchen in Aventura and deliver it in our own vehicles, from office lunches to yacht platters.
  • On site. For grill and paella menus we finish the food at your venue using our own professional equipment.
  • In your kitchen. For a private chef dinner, your chef cooks and serves in your kitchen, and groceries are included in the price.

Graduation Party Catering Questions Before You Book

How much does it cost to cater a graduation party in Miami?

Graduation party catering starts at $45 per guest for 25 guests or more. The service charge and sales tax come as separate lines. The four lines above show how the total is built, and your quote lists every one before you pay a deposit.

What is a reasonable budget for graduation party catering?

Start from your guest count and the price per guest, from $45. For example, 60 guests × $45 = $2,700 before the 18% service charge and sales tax, and events up to 50 guests add $10 per guest. Tell us your budget per guest when you send your request.

What is the minimum number of guests for graduation catering?

The minimum is 25 guests, and your quote confirms the minimum for your date.

What food can I serve at a graduation party for a crowd?

You can ask for BBQ catering, paella or a vegan menu, all from $45 per guest, and your quote confirms the dishes.

Is staff included in graduation party catering?

Our team serves your party for four hours, and each extra hour is $5 per guest. The service charge covers staffing, setup and breakdown, and kitchen operations. It is mandatory for events with our staff on site.

Can you cater a backyard graduation party?

Yes. We cater at your home, your backyard, a hall or a venue. Tell us the address and where the food goes, and the quote shows delivery.

How far ahead should I book graduation catering?

Private events usually book 2 to 3 weeks ahead. Send your date first: the quote takes 24 hours, and the menu comes second.

Can graduation catering work when guests arrive at different times?

Tell your coordinator the start and end times. Four hours of service are included, and each extra hour is $5 per guest, so a long open house is priced in your quote before you book.
