Who Cooks and Serves Your Event

Our own team cooks and serves your event. We staff it by guest count, with about one team member for every 25 guests. The roles are a chef, an event coordinator, cooks and servers. The company has 10+ years in catering.

How we cook

  • In our kitchen. We prepare the food in our licensed commercial kitchen in Aventura and deliver it in our own vehicles, from office lunches to yacht platters.
  • On site. For grill and paella menus we finish the food at your venue using our own professional equipment.
  • In your kitchen. For a private chef dinner, your chef cooks and serves in your kitchen, and groceries are included in the price.

How much does a private chef cost in Fort Lauderdale?

A private chef dinner costs $100 to $300+ a guest, with groceries included. Caviar and wagyu cost extra, and Broward's 7% sales tax is a separate line. The table above shows who comes at each table size.

What is the difference between a personal chef and a private chef?

Many people use the two names for the same thing. Here, a personal chef or private chef cooks dinner in your kitchen for the date you choose, and your coordinator plans the menu with you. Personal chef services here are dinners for 2 guests or more.

Does the private chef price include groceries?

Yes. A private chef dinner is priced at $100 to $300+ a guest with groceries included. Caviar and wagyu are the extras, and they appear on their own line in your quote.

How many guests do I need for a private chef?

The minimum is 2 guests, so a dinner for two is the smallest booking. An assistant joins the chef from 12 guests, and servers join from 20 guests.

Does the chef cook in my kitchen?

Yes. Your chef cooks in your kitchen, and some parts of the dinner may be prepared in advance. You stay at the table with your guests while the meal comes together, and your coordinator confirms the plan in the quote.

How far ahead should I book a private chef in Fort Lauderdale?

To hire a personal chef for a private event, book 2 to 3 weeks ahead and send your date as soon as you know it. A deposit comes only after you approve the menu and the quote.

Can a private chef cook for vegan guests?

Yes. Tell your coordinator who is coming, including vegan guests, and the menu is planned around your table.

What sales tax applies to a private chef in Fort Lauderdale?

Broward County's rate is 7%: Florida's 6% plus the county's 1%. It sits on its own line in your quote.
