West Palm Beach Catering for Parties, Weddings and Company Lunches
In business for 10+ years, Miami Plate Catering serves West Palm Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County: parties, weddings, corporate lunches and private dinners. A full-service event with our own staff starts at $45 a guest and needs at least 25 people. A delivered office lunch starts at $15 a guest for 10 or more people. Both prices come before sales tax, and events with our staff also carry a service charge.
- Parties.Birthdays, anniversaries and family dinners at your home or venue. A team sized to your headcount, roughly one person per 25 guests, serves for four hours.
- Wedding catering.Silver, Gold and Platinum wedding packages run $75, $95 and $125 a guest, starting at 50 guests.
- Corporate meals.Meetings and team lunches get labeled individual meals, set out and cleaned up by us. Delivery depends on your address and is shown in your quote.
- Private chef dinners.A chef cooks from $100 to $300+ a guest, groceries included, for two guests and up.
- Trays.Platters cost $65 to $95 a tray, with a two-tray minimum.

Our own team cooks and serves your event. We staff it by guest count, with about one team member for every 25 guests. The roles are a chef, an event coordinator, cooks and servers. The company has 10+ years in catering.
How we cook
- In our kitchen. We prepare the food in our licensed commercial kitchen in Aventura and deliver it in our own vehicles, from office lunches to yacht platters.
- On site. For grill and paella menus we finish the food at your venue using our own professional equipment.
- In your kitchen. For a private chef dinner, your chef cooks and serves in your kitchen, and groceries are included in the price.

Catering Prices and Sales Tax in Palm Beach County
Catering in West Palm Beach starts at $15 a guest for office lunches and $45 a guest for full service with staff. Every price below is per guest and comes before sales tax. Events with our staff add a service charge, explained below. Palm Beach County's sales tax is lower than in Miami-Dade and Broward, and your quote shows it on its own line.

An event with our staff carries a mandatory service charge of 18% up to 100 guests. It pays for staff, setup, breakdown and kitchen operations, and it is not a tip. Sales tax in Palm Beach County is 6.5%: Florida's 6% plus the county's 0.5%. Miami-Dade and Broward are at 7%. The rate follows the address of your event, so your quote shows the one that applies. Take 50 guests at the base tier: 50 × $45 = $2,250, plus the 18% service charge and sales tax. Tips are optional and never added automatically.
Booking terms
Catering Booking Terms Without Small Print
These are the terms we put in your contract, in plain words.
Deposit, price lock and payment
50% after you approve the menu and quote, or 30% when you book 6+ months ahead. Your contract price does not change before the event. Pay by card, Zelle, ACH, check or cash; 4% off without a card.
Guest count and final payment
Due 10 business days before the event, 48 hours for office and yacht orders. You can reduce the count by up to 10% of the contract.
Cancellation
7+ days before: event credit with no expiry or a refund minus 30%. Less than 7 days: no refund. Drop-off orders: full refund up to 24 hours before delivery. If we have to cancel, we refund your deposit within 10 days and, less than 30 days out, help find a replacement and pay the price difference.

It’s Florida. We bring a tent or switch to a covered format, quoted in advance.
Tasting
Free for booked weddings and events of 100+ guests. Before booking, a tasting is $100, credited to your order if you book within 14 days.

How Your Guest Count Changes the Catering Price
The size of your party changes three things on a quote: whether the small-event add-on applies, which service charge percentage you pay and how many team members we staff. The list below shows what changes at each size, so you can see where your party falls before you answer the five questions.
- 25 to 49 guests.Full service adds $10 a guest, and the 25-guest minimum applies to every full-service tier.
- 50 to 100 guests.The tier price applies as listed, with the 18% service charge. Wedding packages start here.
- 101 to 300 guests.The service charge steps down to 15% for 101 to 200 guests and 12% for 201 to 300. Staffing grows with the count, at about one team member per 25 guests.
- Above 300 guests.The service charge is 10%.
- Children.Kids up to 3 years old eat free, and children 4 to 12 pay half.
- Extra food and hours.We prepare 10% more food than your headcount at no charge. Four hours of service are included, and each additional hour costs $5 a guest.
